we built this site in a single evening.
not because we had to move fast, but because we've spent enough time in finance watching decisions get workshopped into irrelevance. so when we decided to start building apps together, we made a rule: ship first, polish later.
why apps?
we're both investment bankers based in new york. we spend our days in spreadsheets, decks, and deal rooms. somewhere along the way we got interested in AI — not the hype, but the actual tools. the stuff that lets two people with no traditional engineering background build real software.
alma studio is the result of that curiosity.
what we're building
our first app is sudoku battle — a multiplayer sudoku game where you challenge friends to solve the same puzzle in real time. we play sudoku. we thought it should be competitive. so we're making it competitive.
more apps will follow. we have a list.
why "alma"?
alma means soul in spanish. our initials are al and ma. it felt right.
